Medical Care Company Cencora provided an opportunity to redesign Cencora’s pharmaceutical inventory management solution. The project goals were to Improve design, modularity, manufacturability, and user experience.

Existing Design Drawbacks

  • Space Studies were performed and found these existing nucleus units did not match up to competitors

  • The overall footprint of these systems were large and under utilized

  • UX/UI outdated 

  • Nurses and pharmacists found the User Experience cumbersome and unintuitive.

  • The ergonomics of the product could be improved as nurses struggled to utilize bottom drawer
